Recently I became extremely discouraged with the price of automobile insurance and decided to check out as many options as possible before changing companies. The first company I called was Progressive Insurance. Right off the bat I found their rates reasonable and what I like to call “real” coverage satisfactory. But, as I called more and more of the “highly recommended” automobile insurance companies, I quickly found Progressive to be the winner. After getting a quote from Progressive on two vehicles with full coverage, I was amazed to learn that not one company could beat their rates, including one that proudly announces in television commercials their ability to save you money on your car insurance. The best aspect besides the reasonable price is that signing up with Progressive was a snap and in the Northern areas they even offer specialized road services at no additional charge. Payment options allow you to pay monthly, quarterly or yearly. I have not yet experienced any bad aspects of this company and I have been with them well over a year now. I think anyone who feels they are over paying for automobile insurance should check out Progressive Insurance. I did a complete job of checking insurance companies and cannot imagine anyone who could not benefit by checking this companies rates.

Easy. Fast. Clear. Cost efficient. 
This is how I will describe my experiences with Progressive.com 
I got associated with Progressive, as they were the only online insurance company who would give coverage for me as I was a Permit driver at that time. Later I continued my insurance with Progressive as they gave the best online rates and I was very much satisfied with the website and all the features online. 
These are the four points that make Progressive.com attractive: 
1) Fewer screens to get the quote 
2) Surest lowest rate for most of the drivers. 
3) Easiest interface ever, even a layman can buy insurance online with progressive.com 
4) Best online customer service, eg: email service and response is awesome. 

Since last 2 years, I have enjoyed the online services of Progressive.com and I have one consistency, improvement. Improvement in rates, in the flow of the website, the overall work flow etc. There are many reasons that I will visit Progressive.com again: 
1) Best rates assure my loyalty 
2) Account changes like address change, can be made very easily online. 
3) Coverage changes can also be made without effort online. 
4) Add, remove driver options are also very well handled online on progressive.com 

My recommendation is to go for the best, go for Progressive.com

A little more than a year ago I decided I had enough of my current insurance company and needed a new one. I went to Progessive’s website because of their advertisements of offering competitors rates. I went through all the typical questions and got an immediate quote, something I didn’t get with a lot of other websites. In order to get quotes from other companies I had to enter a lot more information and those quotes were different than what I got when I called those companies directly, although not a major difference, and some were higher, some were lower. 

I decided to give Progressive a try because I liked there web interface and the ability to pay my bill online. 

A few months later, my wife was in a minor car accident. She called me, and then the insurance company. She needed to get to work so she called me to give her a ride. By the time I picked her up, the insurance adjuster was already onsite. I gave her a ride and I was driving back when the insurance adjuster called me with estimated damage and referrals to a couple of local companies to repair the damage and numbers for tow trucks. I called and set everything up, and by noon the car was in the shop. It took about two weeks to get it fixed, because they had to order the hood twice, but it only took a week for me to get a check from Progressive. Her injuries were minor but we had no problems sending her to a chiropractor for a couple of months after the accident. 

Overall, I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency of getting our claim settled. I would definitely recommend Progressive if they give you a quote you can live with.
